Wellness Respite Associate (Temporary)

Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey, Inc. (CSPNJ), a peer led not-for-profit organization, seeks Wellness Respite Associate for a temporary assignment (3 to 6 months) for a hospital diversion program based in Haledon, NJ. The position is temporary for up to 6 months for 40 hours per week. Excellent Benefits offered including health, vision, dental, paid time off. Responsiblities: Under the direction of the Program Manager will provide supportive services geared toward facilitating the center guests' successful stay, learning crisis coping skills and working toward realizing their full potential. Work as part of a team, to provide services consistent with agency's mission, vision, values, Psychiatric Rehabilitation principles and the concept of wellness and recovery. Qualifications: Bachelors in related field and 1 year relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Excellent written and verbal skills, strong assessment skills and organizational skills are required. Ability to manage crisis; strong computer skills; valid NJ drivers' license required. Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation model preferred. Position is eligible for benefits. Individuals working through their own recovery are strongly encouraged to apply.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
