Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Patient assessment (triage) and patient treatments Surgical related duties (anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation and assisting, patient recovery and discharge) Dentistry (charting, scaling, polishing teeth, digital radiology) Venipuncture and catheter placement Client communication skills Record relevant information (history, weight, chronic medications, etc.
) Pharmacy (in house laboratory and diagnostic machines, and knowledge of common medications and preventatives) Sterilizing equipment and regularly cleaning examination rooms Handling and soothing pets during examinations, treatments, and vaccinations Understanding or willingness to learn operating diagnostics equipment Strong time management, organizational, and medical record keeping knowledge Ability to lift at least 40lbs Our technicians are an important member of our team.
They provide support to the veterinarian, team, and our patients.
They complete our caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable team.

Negotiable - based on experience and skill set
Experience:
Veterinary Technician:
1 to 2 years related experience.
A combination of education and experience preferred.
Education:
High school or equivalent.
Additional education beyond high school is a plus.
Technical Training:
Two-year Veterinary Technician Program graduate preferred, not required.
Work Days Required:
Monday
Tuesday +Thursday= 7:
30am to 6pm Friday= 7:
30am to 4pm Sunday= 8am to 2pm Closed Wednesday and Saturday.
No major holidays.
